This article explains how to delete unattractive PVR profiles or registered friends from your Nintendo 3DS system. How to Delete a Friend Code Every Nintendo 3DS system has a unique Friend Code that is required for two Nintendo 3DS systems to communicate with each other. For this to work, the friend must also register your code on their Nintendo 3DS. If your friend doesn't complete this process, their profile will look like an anonymous gray outline and their status will be stuck as a "Provisionally Registered Friend" (PVR), with whom you can't exchange information. If you want to delete PVR profiles or even fully registered friends, here's what to do: Turn on your Nintendo 3DS. Near the top of the touchscreen find and select the Friend List icon. It looks like an orange smiley face. On the left side of the Register Friend button, select Settings. When the menu pops up, choose Delete Friend Card. Select the Friend Card you want to delete (PVR cards are at the very end of the queue). If you're sure you want to delete that friend, select Yes or press the A button. Otherwise, press B to back out. Say farewell! Was this page helpful? Thanks for letting us know! Get the Latest Tech News Delivered Every Day Subscribe Tell us why!
