Dragon Quest VII was initially released for the PlayStation in 2001. It's a lengthy RPG that tends to divide Dragon Quest fans: some find it to be a lengthy, rambling experience, while others love its depth. It's time to re-ignite the debate, as Dragon Quest VII is receiving a 3D remake for the Nintendo 3DS!
So far, only Japan has a confirmed release date (February 2013) courtesy of Jump Magazine. Are we going to see an English-language localization? Oh gosh, I hope so. Nintendo and Square-Enix did a great job bringing Dragon Quest IV, V, and even the elusive VI to the Nintendo DS, so if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get busy wishing on some stars.
