If you're a fan of the AR battles that are part of the most excellent Kid Icarus: Uprising experience, then crowd in for some good news: Series 2 of the AR cards is now available.
Series 2 offers additional characters, more items, and even backdrops courtesy of "Stage Cards."
If you want the cards, however, you'll need to hunt them down. Like the first series of AR cards, Series 2 is primarily available through special events. Starting August 3 (today!), you can grab your own packs of Series 2 AR cards at the Nintendo World store in NYC. The cards will also be distributed every Friday at the store between 6 and 8 p.m. EST for an undisclosed number of weeks.
If you can't make it to the Nintendo World Store (though you really should try, it's a neat place), you can also find Series 2 at consumer events like Penny Arcade Expo (PAX), which runs from August 31 through September 2, and New York Comic-Con, which runs from October 11 through 13.
