Remember the sad story of Mega Man Legends 3? It was a Nintendo 3DS game that was to be preceded by a downloadable demo, or "Prototype Version." Unfortunately, the Prototype project, which fans had been invited to contribute ideas towards, was cancelled in July, and the game never received any kind of a release.
Chris Hoffman, a writer for Nintendo Power, remains, as far as anyone knows, the only game journalist who played what there was of Mega Man Legends 3, which was previewed in an issue of the magazine. GamesRadar solicited questions about the early build of the prototype for Hoffman, and Hoffman has answered them to the best of his ability
How far from completion was the prototype? What were the controls like? Did poor Mega Man ever get off the Moon, which he was stranded upon at the end of Mega Man Legends 2 for the PlayStation? All these questions and more are answered over at GamesRadar.
