The original Scribblenatus was a game I desperately wanted to love, but ultimately couldn't. Nevertheless, I'd hoped for a sequel that would improve on the first game's problems.
Who says wishes don't come true? In the April edition of Nintendo Power magazine, 5th Cell unveiled Scribblenauts 2 for the Nintendo DS, and promised that Scribblenauts' past issues will be addressed. 10,000 new words will be added to the game's dictionary, and adjectives will play a bigger role. The previous game's loose controls will be tightened, and keep an eye out for a level editor.
Scribblenauts 2 will hit retail this fall.
