Nintendo's 2010 Media Summit has revealed all sorts of goodies that are forthcoming for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi. Most importantly, the Nintendo DSi XL finally has a North American release date: March 28. Your color options include wine red and bronze.
The Nintendo DSi XL will cost you a cool $189.99, but here's what you can expect for your dosh: screens that are 93% bigger than the DS Lite's screens, pre-loaded software (Brain Age: Arts & Letters, Brain Age Math, and Photo Clock), and a larger, thicker stylus better suited for the big screens.
Moreover, the Nintendo DSi XL will have Ereader capabilities, meaning it can take on double duty as a book reader. Nintendo already has plans to release a $20 collection of approximately 100 works of classic literature, including Shakespeare and Mark Twain.
