Lucky Nintendo DS owners in Japan will get a chance to access exclusive downloads through a new service called “Mac de DS.” Nintendo partnered up with McDonald's for the service, which offers access points at certain McDonald's restaurants along Tokyo's Tsukuba Express train line.
Some of the downloadable content is Pokemon-based (surprise, surprise), including a chance for Pokemon trainers to download and collect digital stamps of their favorite monsters. Game demos and coupons for McDonald's food are available as well.
Mac de DS is accessible for all Nintendo DS owners, regardless of their system's make. There's no word yet if Nintendo and McDonald's will bring something similar to America, but it'd be a delicious partnership.
